Polymer technology for immunohistochemistry (IHC) has provided superior sensitivity and the elimination of avidin-biotin blocking steps. BIOCARE proudly introduces the revolutionary series of polymer detection kits (PROMARK) for mouse and rat tissues. (Research use only)
Mouse-on-Rat Polymer Kit
Minimum cross-reactivity on rat tissues for use with mouse primary antibodies on rat tissues. Polymer detection allows for greater sensitivity and fewer IHC steps. Cat. No. MRT511 (for HRP), MRT515 (for AP)
Mouse-on-Mouse Polymer Kit
Developed for use with mouse antibodies on mouse tissues, this kit is biotin-free and does not require IgG concentration calculations to achieve excellent sensitivity. Cat. No. MM510 (for HRP), MM512 (for AP)
Mouse on Mouse Biotinylation Double Stain Kit
This new sequential 5-step mouse on mouse double stain protocol has been developed that incorporates avidin into a protein blocking reagent and biotin into antibody diluent. A biotinylated mouse primary antibody is cocktailed with a goat anti-rabbit alkaline phosphatase antibody. Next, a cocktail of streptavidin-HRP and a biotin-free goat anti-rabbit alkaline phosphatase (AP) is applied. DAB and Fast Red were used sequentially for two-color staining. Double staining was easily achieved in five major sequential steps in approximately 2.2 hours, eliminating an avidin-biotin blocking step, elution step, and sequential staining steps. For more comprehensive information about this kit and its components, see the Mouse on Mouse Detection section on this website.
Cat. No. MM519 G, H 6.0, 25 ml
Goat Polymer Detection Kit (Human, Rat and Mouse Tissues)
Developed for use with goat primary antibodies on human, mouse and rat tissues. Goat detection minimizes cross-reactivity to endogenous mouse and rat IgG, while the polymer technology allows greater sensitivity and eliminates the need for avidin/biotin blocking. Cat. No. GHP516 (for HRP), GAP514 (for AP)
Rat-on-Mouse Polymer Detection Kit
These kits are specially designed for using rat monoclonal antibodies on mouse tissues. Rat primary antibodies are advantageous on mouse tissues because mouse adsorbed anti-rat detection systems display minimum cross-reactivity to endogenous mouse IgG. This two-step system has been shown to be 10-20 times more sensitive than a conventional mouse adsorbed anti-rat HRP or AP detection system. Cat. No. RT517 (for HRP), RT518 (for AP), RT517SK (HRP) specific for rat on mouse CD31
Rat-and-Mouse Double Stain Polymer Detection Kit
This new kit is specially designed for double stain procedures on all rat tissues with emphasis on brain. The kit utilizes an alkaline phosphatase (AP) and horseradish peroxidase (HRP) polymer technology that provides a significant increase in staining sensitivity when compared to other conventional HRP- or AP-conjugated detection systems. A mixture of conjugated anti-mouse HRP and anti-rabbit AP polymer has been developed for detection of a cocktail of mouse and rabbit primary antibodies; thus a rapid 4-step double stain procedure can be accomplished in less than two hours. The double stain kit can be used manually or used with automated stainers. Cat. No. RDS513
Rabbit-on-Rodent Polymer
Polymer detection for use with rabbit primary antibodies on mouse and rat tissues. The advantages of this polymer technology are an increase in sensitivity, a reduction of IHC steps and the elimination of endogenous biotin. Cat. No. RMR622 (for HRP), RMR625 (for AP)
