Endogenous Peroxidase Blockers
PEROXIDAZED 1 (Paraffin sections) is a potent blocker for endogenous peroxidase. The product is highly stable and superior to 3% hydrogen peroxide in water, buffer and methanol. This product can be stored at room 2-8° C or refrigerated. The specially formulated diluent used makes the blocker compatible for both paraffin and frozen sections.
PeroxAbolish is a non-hydrogen peroxide formula that is safe and extremely gentle on tissues and cells. This novel formula is highly effective in quenching endogenous peroxidase. When using paraffin-embedded formalin-fixed tissues, it is extremely effective if used after antigen retrieval methods.

BACKGROUND ERASER is a color-coded (blue) PBS Solution of 10% goat serum and Tween 20. It is formulated to work in 5 minutes and designed to block non-specific background staining in IHC procedures.
BACKGROUND PREDATOR
This kit can be used with any IHC protocol requiring avidin-biotin blocking. In most cases, endogenous biotin in tissue sections is masked by formalin (Background Predator A and B) fixation; however, if avidin-biotin IHC detection systems (Streptavidin) are used with tissues pretreated with a heat-induced, epitope retrieval method (HIER), an avidin-biotin blocking technique may be required.

After the application of mouse detective, a mouse monoclonal antibody can be applied followed by a biotinylated secondary mouse antibody used for detection of mouse on mouse. It can also be used on an automated staining system.

This blocking reagent has been developed for mouse tissues. It can be used with mouse on mouse, rabbit on rodent, rat on mouse and goat polymer detection systems. It blocks nonspecific background and helps reduce endogenous mouse IgG.
XM Factor
A potent blocker for endogenous mouse IgG in mouse tissue. When used in conjunction with Rodent Block M, endogenous IgG is dramatically reduced and/or eliminated. It can be used with rabbit on rodent and goat polymer detection systems but cannot be used with mouse on mouse HRP or AP polymers.
